We live at a time when successive Governments have found it necessary to encourage us to reduce our dependence on the State, to the extent that a rewarding lifestyle for the future is now only certain for those who carefully plan their financial security and review their plans regularly.

Irrespective of whether you have already started to plan your financial future, this Practice can help you ensure that you are taking the most effective steps to secure it.

As Independent Financial Advisers we offer totally unbiased advice, and having access to the financial products of most insurance and investment companies, this Practice is well placed to help you secure your financial future.

"Tomorrow will be here all too soon!"

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Q: Why should you choose Caliber for financial advice?

A: Within Caliber Financial Associates we can offer: -

  • A Higher level of Formal Qualification. The Practice is fully authorised to provide advice in all areas. Many Practices are unable to provide advice on issues such as the "transfer" of pension funds from occupational pension schemes where the benefits are linked to salary, whilst other Practices prefer to avoid areas such as mortgages or Equity Release. Within Caliber there are advisers who specialise in all business areas and so you can be certain that we have the knowledge and experience to help you with all your financial needs.
  • Accessibility. The Practice is available by Email, Letter, Fax or telephone (during normal office hours and most Saturdays) and, of course, there is always an answer-phone, which will take messages at other times.
  • Where are Meetings Held?  As well as being able to meet you during office hours at one of our offices, Caliber also offers the option of meetings in your home or your Office, and at a time that is convenient to you.
  • A Friendly Confidential Service providing Advice you can understand. Although Caliber has grown to be a major provider of Independent Financial Advice, the high standards of service we set at outset are still followed. You can rely on us for “jargon-free” advice and a “no nonsense” approach to helping you to set and meet financial objectives.

Q: How do we decide what advice to give?

A: Following an initial introductory meeting to establish your financial circumstances and objectives, we would undertake any necessary research and then prepare an outline report containing initial recommendations based on the issues we agreed during our meeting. These initial recommendations are then open to further discussion and amendment in order to ensure that your requirements are met.

 Q: What happens afterwards?

Having agreed and put in place our recommendations, you can arrange for us to review your circumstances on an agreed, regular basis in order to ensure that your financial needs and objectives continue to be met.

Q: How can you pay for our services?

A: This is an issue we will discuss at the initial meeting where we will present you with a Key Facts Document setting out the Cost of our Services. Our services do have to be paid for, and as Independent Financial Advisers we will present you with 3 payment options: -

  • We may agree to remuneration through payment of fees, in which case commissions due on investment policies will be reinvested for your benefit.
  • We may agree to remuneration through an agreed level of commissions in which case any excess commissions over and above the agreed level (on investment contracts) will be reinvested for your benefit.
  • We may agree to remuneration through an agreed combination of Fees and Commissions as above.
